Expedition 404 is an offline team-based technical treasure hunt. Teams of 2–3 members divide roles: 1–2 members stay at the main venue solving paper-based debugging questions, while the remaining member(s) move across the campus. Each solved debugging question reveals the next location. The roaming member(s) must reach that location and solve a cognitive puzzle to obtain a verification code. Once verified, the next debugging question is unlocked. This sequence continues until all stages are completed. The first team to finish all stages wins.
• Teams must consist of 2–3 members(including Leader). • Round 1 is a Kahoot-based quiz; only shortlisted teams advance to Round 2. • Round 2 is offline; 1–2 members must remain at the main venue, while remaining member(s) move across the campus. • Paper-and-pen only in Round 2; laptops, compilers, internet, and AI tools are strictly prohibited. • Mobile phones are allowed only for internal team communication. • Teams must follow the given location sequence; skipping locations is not allowed. • Sharing answers, clues, or code words, or seeking external help, leads to disqualification. • Each team is supervised by a dedicated monitor; all rules must be strictly followed. • Organizers' decisions are final and binding.
