CrimeTrace is a web-based Capture The Flag event that immerses participants in a digital crime investigation. Teams analyze hidden clues across files, images, webpages, and encoded data to uncover flags representing key evidence. The event challenges logical reasoning, forensic thinking, and problem-solving under strict time limits, encouraging participants to connect fragmented clues, decode the unseen, and uncover the truth through sharp analysis and strategy.
• This is a Team Event . Team size: 2-3 (including Leader) • Any form of flag or answer sharing between participants or teams will result in immediate disqualification of the entire team. • Only participants qualified in Round 1 are eligible to advance to Round 2. • All flags must be submitted exactly in the specified format; incorrect formats will not be accepted. • Points are awarded for correct flags, while hint usage will incur penalties. • Participants must bring their own laptops for the event. • Evaluation is based on accuracy, logical reasoning, analytical depth, and time efficiency under given constraints.
